Can a 75 - 300 ohm TV transformer be used backwards as a 300 - 75 ohm transformer for a UHF bow tie antenna? - home made uhf balun
I made a bow, house 4 UHF antenna (just experimenting) and I'm going to reconnect. If the processor can be restricted in any manner or in a direction (such as a processing step). Is it basically just a wire wound transformer without diodes?

The processors work in any way.
The frequency band (VHF or UHF) is not the reason you need the processor. The transformer is needed to adjust the impedance of the antenna to the receiver input. Impedance matching and to eliminate reflections from the majority of the signal.
It should work both ways. There is no active component.
